On January 14, 2022, our twelfth litter of shikoku was born from mom Kanna and dad Koji. 6 puppies were born, 1 female and 5 males. At the moment we have the availability of some boys. All puppies will most likely be sesame colored. Koji and Kanna have already had two previous litters together, and because the high quality both in terms of morphology and character, we have decided to repeat this same mating for a third and last time. From their first litter together we have kept the wonderful Hyoga. Both parents are tested for hip and elbow dysplasia.
For 2022 we have planned other 2 litters.
The next litter, will be the first for our Kimi, and for her we have chosen the wonderful Fujiyori from Laura's Ihoku Hakuren Sou kennel, with whom we have been friends for several years and for now the only two to have professional shikoku breeding recognized ENCI/FCI in Italy. For this litter, we will have the birth by the beginning of march 2022. Ultrasound already done and our Kimi will expect at least 3 puppies.
The third and final litter for 2022 is scheduled for autumn. The mother will be our Kuko, while the father, most likely, will be our Hyoga, at his first litter in Italy, since he has already reproduced in Russia with excellent results.
Updates will follow in the coming weeks.
